Long Time, No See Post

Okay, so I've only seen Randy once or twice in 2006.

He's been in NJ, or working from home, or finally embarking on his promised ukelele tour of the Northeast. Or something like that.

But the last time we did speak, he was still a QUITTER.

Next update will be the next time I talk to him.

Post-Orange Bowl Post

Here's a quote from the man, himself:

I'm suffering from the lack of the FSU offense being in the game but it was a really great game overall on a stress level and pressure level.

I'm glad I had my 2 smokes ;-) left for the pressure of this game. How many missed FGs? Too many to count on one hand collectively.

The Rose bowl game will be enjoyable. USC vs. Texas. Go Longhorns!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Again, a favorite of another under-dog team) At least FSU made a close game of it. PSU wasn't ready for the hard hitting defense FSU delivered, BUT !!!!!! Where the Hell was FSU's offense tonight. PSU has a great defense but the real FSU offense it shot.

We (FSU) need a more solid QB and much better Kicker. I'm tired of losing games to Florida or Miami by missed Field Goals. Well, same for tonight in the Orange Bowl vs PSU.

Congrats all U PSU fans for a great fought battle.

Jan 3 Mid-day Update - Quitting After Orange Bowl

Apparently, I picked a bad time to zone out on him during our last conversation.

His final word, as of 14:15 EST, is that he's quitting after the Orange Bowl tonight.

Current Status: Quitting after the Orange Bowl tonight.

Smart Money: Odds favor him back to nominal smoking no later than next Tuesday.

Post New Years' Status - Sort of Quitting

Senor Randy is living up to expectations, so far. He tells me he is currently "mostly quitting", having only two before he goes to bed.

The fact that he didn't even manage an official full quit for his resolution leads me to believe that even that quititude will be finished before the weeke is out.
